The West Virginia School Counselor Association is soliciting proposals for our in-person conference March 7-8, 2024. Sessions will be 50 minute break-outs promoting evidence-based programs in the domains of academic, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development highlighting the latest techniques and practices in school counseling. Presentations need to showcase proven programs, current research, or skills of value to counselors (Pre-K to post-secondary) as well as district personnel, graduate students, and school counselor educators.

Proposals of a political, marketing, or for-profit nature will not be accepted.

Presenter details:

• WVSCA will provide selected presenters with a computer and projector
• Presenters may be asked to present their sessions twice
• Presenters are responsible for reproducing workshop session handouts and/or providing digital copies for inclusion in our conference app.
• Current resume or CV must accompany the session proposal as required by the WV Board of Examiners in Counseling.

The deadline to submit is January 15, 2024.
